Recently, we had the opportunity to attend an inspiring event to kick off the 2014 World Cup. Being the lovers of soccer that we are, we didn’t resist the invitation. More importantly, the event, put on by our friends at Sports and Social Change, bestowed us with the opportunity to meet organizations utilizing soccer to create a sustainable future. We wanted to provide you with that same chance.

Dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences, Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.
Our mission is to inspire urban youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world. We achieve this mission through daily after school and summer programming which combines soccer, poetry and service-learning.
A network of organizations using football as a vehicle for social impact. These organisations use football to tackle a range of pressing social issues such as HIV/AIDS, education, peace building, employability and gender equality.

The Mission: Make top quality Fair Trade soccer equipment that connects and benefits athletes, and to promote sports as a tool for development.
Street Soccer USA is sports for social change. Using our entrepreneurial instinct as well as evidence based practices, we make a measurable difference in the lives of underserved youth in urban areas and special needs populations, including homeless families, adults, people in recovery, among others.
Pass It Forward Soccer is a non-profit company committed to giving the gift of play to children around the world. The concept is simple: buy a soccer ball, and one ball will be donated to a child in need.
