A number of nonprofits run Santa themed fundraisers as a great way to engage end-of-year donors. These are fun activities that can also remind supporters that they don’t have to wait until December 31st to make a year-end donation. Below, we highlight a couple of Santa themed events run by two Rallybound customers, San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Jessie Rees Foundation.
Santa is coming to town
The Jessie Rees Foundation’s Santa Stroll is a walk to support and encourage kids fighting cancer to never give up. This is a great way to bring the community together, dress up in holiday costumes and give back. This campaign also allows for virtual fundraisers to create personal pages even if they are unable to make it to the physical event. This is a great way for supporters to tap into their network across the country and encourage them to participate no matter where they are.
Santa Skivvies Run is a festive, one-mile run through the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco to benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Participants raise $150 or more to support lifesaving HIV services. This run brings all the most festive costumes (and even people in their undies) out on the streets of San Francisco for a great time and a good cause.
